This espresso comes from Konga Coffee, a company that works exclusively in the Yirgacheffe area of Ethiopia. This particular lot comes from the Gedeb district in the Gedeo zone of Yirgacheffe and is processed with the Natural method.

We selected it for one of our espressos because of its sweetness and dark red fruit flavours which we thought would make for an excellent espresso. We weren't wrong!

Suggested brewing recipe:

This is a light-roasted espresso that is fruity and sweet. It works best with a medium brew ratio of 1 parts coffee dose in to 2.2 parts espresso yield out.

• Brew recipe: 19g dose (in a 20g basket) and 42g yield
• Brew time: 24-28 seconds
