A washed lot produced at the Chelbesa washing station. Located at 2100 masl, Chelbesa is near Worka Town in Gedeb, also known as Yirgacheffe.

Alemayahu Tilahun, the station manager, sources ripe red cherries from local farmers and processes them at this washing station. The washing station is located close to the farms which ensures that no farmer needs to transport their cherries for more than 40 minutes to reach the station. This ensures freshness, for one, but also makes logistics a lot easier for the farmers.

We've bought coffee from Chelbesa before and it's always a treat to taste their coffees.
