Established in 2023, Nainyoire Estate receives coffee from 150 small farms in the area. Rift Valley is an up-and-coming coffee growing region in Kenya. Although less know than others such as Nyeri and Kirinyaga, Rift Valley is quickly gaining a reputation as a great region. The high altitude, consistent rainfall and volcanic soil mixed with red clay, all combine to give great conditions for specialty coffee.

The farmers who deliver to Nainyoire manage their own plots that each have about 550 coffee trees. This allows them to focus on producing quality over quantity.

We picked this as our second Christmas Coffee because we wanted to showcase a less-known area of Kenya and offer a coffee that is refreshing and vibrant.
