Fazenda Soledade • Brazil • Espresso
From producer Emerson Clayton Pereira Filho, a third generation coffee farmer in the region Sao Sebastiao de Sacramento. The farm Fazenda Soledade was founded in 1979 by Emerson's grandfather, and since then the family has build up a wealth of knowledge about how to run an efficient coffee farm while also focusing on quality and sustainability. As an example, they grow acovado trees side by side with the coffee, replenishing vital nutrients to the ground and provided shade for the coffee trees.
This is a solid coffee from Brazil that's perfect for espresso. It has the body, texture and chocolate richness that you'd expect, paired with a soft acidity and fruitness that makes the chocolate notes even better.
