This is a caffeine-free coffee from Colombia. Specialty decaf has been on the rise the last few years as more people want to enjoy coffee at any time of day, and people who are sensitive to caffeine also want to get in on the joy of delicious coffee. Because of this decaf is receiving the same care in growing, processing and sourcing as other forms of specialty coffee.

This blended decaf has coffee of the Castillo and Colombia varieties from five different farms located in the municipalities of Aipe, Iquira, and Algeciras in the department of Huila, at altitudes ranging from 1,600 to 1,900 masl. We could tell you all about how the coffee is decaffeinated, but since our main focus is where coffee comes from, we'd rather showcase the excellent farmers who made this coffee possible.

They are Oscar Leandro Rivas Puentes from the farm Monte Frío. Eduardo Anacona Osso from La Colorada. Robinson Buyucue from La Arenosa. Edwin Zambrano from Buena Vista, and Jelber Yague Pulido from La Pradera.

So keep in mind, even when drinking a blended coffee, there are always individual farms and farmers working hard to grow and process the coffee used. Whenever possible we want to highlight them and give credit where credit is due.
