Kalve coffee roastery is located in Riga, Latvia. They won the Roast Masters competition in Amsterdam in 2025, and they're a certified B Corp with a high focus on making a positive impact in everything they do. They've worked hard to put Latvia on the specialty coffee map and we'd say they're doing a good job of it! Silje has been judging alongside one of their founders, Raimonds, for years in coffee competitions, so we're pleased to be able to feature Kalve as a guest roastery.

This coffee comes from the Nyeri district in Kenya, known for high elevation, volcanic soil and ample rainfall which is an ideal combination for coffee growing.
