For the longest time we've thought about featuring a caffeine free coffee in our selection, but historically decaf has been connected with low quality and old crop coffees. It took a lot of searching to find a decaf that satisfied our standards for flavour and quality, regardless of process.

The name Tumbaga comes from an alloy of gold, silver and bronze that was used in Colombia to make small religious trinkets. In the context of this coffee they use it to mean that they've blended various Colombian coffees to create a lot that will still taste good after going through the sugarcane decaffination process. Since they use fresh crop coffees, it still retains it's fruitiness, vibrancy and intensity as a decaf.

The interest in coffee without caffeine has been steadily growing, and we hope this one will let you enjoy a cup of delicious coffee at any time of the day.
