This is a blend from various small farms in the Monzón valley in the region of Huanuco in Peru. The valley is located in central Peru east of the Andes mountains. The region has stable climate and high altitudes which is generally a great combination for growing high quality coffee.

Each of the family-owned farms that contributed to this lot are too small to export directly, so to ensure that they are competetive in a global marked and able to deliver volume, they pool their coffee together and export under a single name.

Although we prefer to feature single farms and farmers that's not always possible, so instead we're happy to be able to feature the work and quality of the Monzón valley.

This is a balanced and well-rounded coffee. Should work well with most brewing methods.

• 18g of medium ground coffee for 300g of 94 degree water
• 40g bloom for 30 seconds
• First pour up to 100g
• Second pour up to 200g
• Third pour up to 300g
